A Graphics Narrative: Then and Before Now
Installation: hand-cut silkscreen prints, latex paint and silkscreen print on wall. 2001.

The History of Communication, Parts 1–3
Series of monoprints with silkscreen, intaglio and collage. 2001.

This work documents and romanticizes the recent history of the graphic industry.  Imagery of the print industry itself is orchestrated through using graphic design as a method of visual organization.  Design is the most ubiquitous medium that connects industry and communication in our culture – design is practical, as art is aesthetic. In an ideal world, art is life; junk mail is challenging and beautiful, instruction manuals inspire new vocabularies for color, and advertisements are sophisticated and assiduously inventive.
